Innovative Packaging – Part 1
When it comes to putting a new product on the market these days it’s no where close to sufficient enough to put it a box, slap a label on it and ship it out to stores. The average consumer is inundated on a daily basis with hundreds to thousands of different forms of marketing and advertising. Peter Renton from Packaging Digest ( Yes there really is a magazine called Packaging Digest ) states, “Innovation in packaging will get your product noticed, it will help build your brand, and it will give your product some personality. Whether you like it or not your product is initially going to be judged by your packaging.”
Truth be told we are a consumer nation and driven by our senses. When we see something that grabs our attention it’s like a magnet that pulls us in giving the product a momentary chance to give us it’s well thought out pitch. This is exactly what innovative packaging is all about. Getting you attention for long enough that you’ll notice what’s inside.
So to those products that have effectively captured our feeble attention, we salut you! Here’s a few of our favorite new packaging designs.
