Toast ‘N’ Jam 2009

AERA Creative has come in as a sponsor for this year’s Toast ‘N’ Jam youth musical festival. Hosted by the City of Calgary, this musical event is put on to support young musicians and showcase some of Calgary’s premier up-in-coming talent.

This year’s event will be held at the Festival Tent at Canada Olympic Park on August 7th, 2009. This will be a prime opportunity to listen to experienced, as well as up and coming new musicians hailing from Calgary and area. Last year hundreds of people came out and supported their favourite bands and musicians.

Pro Skateboard demos
Youth Resource Fair
Tons of other activities and prizes

And Best of all it’s Free to come down and cheer on your favorite act.

SOME OF THE AMAZING PRIZES BEING AWARDED THIS YEAR INCLUDE:

• RECORDING SESSION
A full 8 hour recording session + another 6 hours of mixing and mastering by Derek S. (Queens of the Stoneage, 14oz, Finger Eleven) at Alberta’s #1 recording studio, THE BEACH.

• STUDIO DIRECTION
Direction from top music producer, LANNY WILLIAMSON (Black Sabbath, The Tragically Hip, Usher)

• MARKETING MATERIAL
Professional photo shoot by photographer Alix Broadway AERA Creative Inc. & CD / Album design by Jai Benteau  AERA Creative Inc.

• FINISHED RECORDING
The finished recording will be submitted to Calgary radio stations for playlist consideration.
